What I’m doing NOW (updated February 16, 2026)

Family Life

I have a seven-year-old son. I’m helping him grow into someone with solid values and a steady sense of himself. Mostly, that means modeling the kind of life I’d want him to recognize later. My wife and I do this together. We’re a team.

Work Life

My two part-time jobs are meaningful. My colleagues are generous of their time, knowledge, and expertise, and my students remind me why this job matters. I don’t take that for granted.

Personal Pursuits

I’m training in Okinawan martial arts, working toward a purple belt this year.

I’ve picked the guitar back up—slowly, deliberately. I’m writing songs again. Maybe I’ll start recording again.

Lastly, I’m learning Spanish, one small lesson at a time.
